This Privacy Policy explains how One Green Solution ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit onegreensolution.com (the "Site"), use the One Green Solution app for iPhone and Android (the "App"), or book a consultation or installation with us.

1. Who we are

2. Information you give us

• Orders: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and order details. Payments are processed by Shopify and our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card number.
• Contact form, calls and texts: your name, email, phone, company, the type of space and what you tell us about it.
• Consultations and installations: the address where we work, how to reach you, and details about your space and system (for example room sizes, AC system or water line). If you share photos of your space, we use them only to plan your installation.
• Email sign-up: your email address, if you subscribe to offers.
• Reviews and feedback you choose to send us.

3. Information collected on our website

When you browse the Site, our store platform (Shopify) automatically collects device and usage information such as browser type, IP address, time zone, pages viewed and how you arrived at the Site, using cookies and similar technologies. This keeps your cart working, protects checkout from fraud and helps us understand how the Site is used. See Cookies below.

4. The One Green Solution app

• Bluetooth: the App uses Bluetooth to find and connect to your One Green diffusers, set schedules and strength, start Boost, and read status such as power and oil level. This information is exchanged only between your phone and your diffuser.
• Location permission (Android 11 and older only): older versions of Android require "location" permission before any app can scan for Bluetooth devices. The App asks for it only for that reason. The App does not read, store or send your location. iPhone and newer Android versions do not ask for location.
• Stored on your phone only: diffuser names, your default diffuser, the order of your list, schedules and presets, space size, oil-level tracking and your shop cart. This data is not sent to us. Deleting the App removes it.
• Shop: the App shows products and prices from our online store. When you tap Checkout, the order is completed on onegreensolution.com in your browser, and the information you enter there is handled as described in this policy and by Shopify.
• Videos: how-to videos play from YouTube. YouTube (Google) may collect information under Google's own privacy policy.
• No tracking: the App has no account, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

5. How we use information

• To process, ship and support your orders, including returns.
• To schedule and carry out consultations, installations and service visits.
• To answer questions and provide customer support by email, phone or text.
• To send offers and news if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email.
• To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and improve our products and Site.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

6. How we share information

We share information only with companies that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout (Shopify privacy policy).
• Payment providers such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, to process payments.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
• Email, chat and spam-protection services that help us communicate with you and protect our forms.
• Manufacturers and installation partners, when needed to install, register a warranty for, or service a product you bought.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and customers.

We do not sell your personal information. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

7. Cookies

The Site uses cookies that are needed for the store to work (for example your cart and checkout), plus analytics cookies that help us understand visits. If we run ads, advertising partners such as Google or Meta may use cookies to measure them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site, like the cart, may not work without them.

8. How long we keep information

We keep order and installation records for as long as needed for warranties, service and legal and tax requirements, and contact-form messages for as long as needed to help you. Data the App stores on your phone stays there until you delete it or the App.

9. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct or delete: email info@onegreensolution.com and we will respond within the time required by law.
• Marketing: unsubscribe from emails at any time; reply STOP to texts.
• App permissions: turn Bluetooth or location access off at any time in your phone's Settings. Delete the App to remove all data it stored on your phone.
• California residents have the right to know, correct and delete personal information and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children

Our Site and App are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, and payments are encrypted by our checkout provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, post a notice on the Site.
